Mental Health Association 2008 Auction Fact Sheet
- Information and referral services for individuals who want to learn more about mental illnesses and where to get help.
- Advocacy for individuals experiencing a mental illness when barriers are blocking them from getting services, and class advocacy to improve those services.
- Community mental health education such as seminars, speakers' bureau, school programs, and literature.
- Outreach programs such as mental health and agency fairs.

The Auction will be divided into two parts:
- Silent Auction - these items are bid on in writing prior to the live auction
- Live Auction - items auctioned verbally by an auctioneer.
Our goal this year is $60,000. Here's how businesses and individuals can get involved:
- By donating an auction item.
- By donating a service that can be auctioned off.
- By advertising in the Auction Catalogue.
- By becoming a sponsor and donating $500, $1,000, $2,000, $5,000, $7,500, or $10,000.
- Business name and a description of your item or service will be featured in the Auction Catalogue.
- Sponsors' names will be listed in advertising and other publicity as space permits.
- Advertising spaces purchased and run in the Auction Catalog will be seen by hundreds of individuals.
- Corporate sponsors will receive advertising in the Auction Catalog free of charge.
- Most donations are tax deductible.
- You will be helping to promote good mental health in your community.
